Caribbean Love: His Chocolate Twins

The wind had shifted, swirling randomly throughout the harbor, garnering loose dust and scraps of discarded paper into a funnel.

It’s getting cool, she thought, her perceptive brown eyes scouring the cruise liner’s deck for the delicious hunk of a white man that had just moments earlier commented on her “very nice shoes.”

Her silk, slinky evening dress had already caused quite a stir among the evening star gazers, with dangerous curves that wrapped tightly into its bright gold sequins.

After a few moments, she’d spotted him once more, standing by the bar, getting a generous refill of vodka and orange juice. His eyes were a sparkling green, and his chiseled, ruggedly handsome face the stuff that movie star legends were made of. And she had seen all of his movies, and knew from reading his biography that he was forty-two, exactly twice her age, but he looked much, much younger.

She sighed and moved toward him, noting that the captain had happened by, and would no doubt keep him busy with chit chat until her arrival.

She moved purposefully, pretending not to notice Richard Ganon’s stunning eyes latching onto her swaying, seductive black body.

“What can I get for you?” The bartender’s words were slung into the night air evenly and calmly, but his eyes were wild and frantic, latching onto her impressive, mouth watering cleavage with unfettered admiration.

“I’m guessing she’ll have a gin and tonic, with a slight twist of lemon,” the ship’s captain spoke up, gazing suddenly upon the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

“And what do you think?” she asked, glancing into the handsome white face next to him.

“I think she’ll have a tequila,” Richard replied.

“You’re both wrong,” she said, suddenly sporting a wry smile. “I don’t drink. Just a ginger ale for me please.”

“I’m Richard,” he said, flashing a dazzling, gleaming white smile that simply floored her.

She gingerly took the movie star’s hand. “Cheryl. But you didn’t have to tell me your name. I don’t think there’s a person on board that hasn’t seen at least one of your movies.”

“Ah, the curse of being famous. Everyone’s already given you the once over at least a dozen times already. You’re on the cruise alone?”

“No,” she replied, her stunning, model like black face capturing his rapt attention. “I’m with my twin sister actually. But I must say, that it was such a pleasant surprise finding out you’d be on board.”

“A last minute decision really. I was going at it twenty-four seven and just knew I had to take a week or two off or collapse.”

“I have to be honest, and say that I’d asked about you, why we weren’t seeing you anywhere on board for the last six days. With just four more days left on the cruise, we were worried we might not catch a glimpse of you. My sister and I are such enormous fans.”

He sighed at her words, glancing momentarily into his dwindling whiskey until he flashed another heart stopping smile.

“I’m a little embarrassed to say, actually,” he continued.
